Patricia Aiken McDavid of Williamston walks away from her crushed Acura vehicle after a tree limb fell on it as she was driving on Gossett Drive near Mineral Spring Park in Williamston.   Her eight-year old neice in the backseat when an oak tree limb fell and both were able to get out of the car.

Keisha Martin, far left, cousin to the 7-year-old female victim, holds back a girl in the young group on Taggart Avenue emotionally shaken by the bicycle wreck on June 9, 2011. The victim was riding west on Taggart Avenue around 5 p.m. and was crossing New Market Street when she was struck by an SUV. She was taken to Self Regional Medical Center and did sustain life threatening injuries.

    Very gripping moment. Too bad about the white shirt.

    Well framed. Puts the man involved in wreck all alone in a very crowded (and probably noisy) environment. Could use a small crop from the right and top of frame to bring you in to the man faster.

    Well composed, good color palette. No moment, but still an eery photo with good context.
